DESCRIPTION:WordCamp: Theatre & Spoken Word \nJuly 9th – 13th\, 10AM-3PM.\n10am – 3pm Monday through Friday\nAges 11-17\n\nWordCamp presents a one-week summer experience for youth ages 11-17\, exploring writing and performance for theatre and spoken word. Lead by artist Asia Rainey\, WordCampers will learn fundamentals of theatre and spoken word\, gain performance confidence and tools\, and create their own projects! Space is limited to 20 WordCampers\, with two additional spaces available by scholarship. WordCamp cost is $100 per child for the week-long session.\n\nIMPORTANT: If you/your child would like to be considered for a scholarship to WordCamp\, please email the child’s name\, age\, grade\, school name\, and a paragraph stating (1) why the child is interested in WordCamp (2) what their artistic passions are to asiarainey@gmail.com.\n\nPlease submit your application below\, INCLUDING those submitting consideration for a scholarship\, for each potential WordCamper.
