Blue Magnolia Films Bicentennial Project

Blue Magnolia Films, in association with Barefoot Workshops, has partnered with the Link Centre and with other Tupelo organizations (Renasant Bank, CDF, Downtown Tupelo, CVB, Kermit’s Outlaw Kitchen, and the Elvis Presley Birthplace) to produce eight stories that celebrate the Tupelo community. Story tellers were nominated, and eight were chosen, to each produce a three-minute documentary using still images and voice-over dialogue to capture a unique perspective highlighting an aspect of the Tupelo Community. The nominees chosen to participate were Melanie Deas, Danny McKenzie, Roy Turner, Gerald Wages, Margaret Anne Murphey, Debbie Brangenberg, Kay Bramlett, Zell Long and Doyce Deas. The results of the partnership are below.
