Mental Health Open Mic Night

Theta Iota Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. invites you to A Mental Health Open Mic Night.

Link Centre’s regularly scheduled Sessions Open Mic hands the stage to this special Mic for July. The Mic welcomes all spoken word artists, singers, musicians, and comedians. Come show us your talent and share what’s on your mind!
Let’s Talk, Let’s Listen, Let’s Heal. Together.
One Night, One Voice, One Community.
If you have questions or want to let us know ahead of time that you’d like to join the list, contact Adrian at 662.231.2822 or adrian1914@hotmail.com. You can also just show up on Saturday night and sign the list.
This special event is also FREE. There will be beverages and snacks available for sale.
Doors open at 7pm, the mic starts at 7:30pm.
We are back home in the newly-renovated (and accessible!) Black Box! Park anywhere on the west side of the building and look for the signs and lights pointing the way down the alley on Douglas Street to the door. Call us at 662.690.4011, ext 1 if you need a little extra help finding us!!
Open mic. Open thoughts. Open minds. Remember the mic is for sharing truths: it is an adult space with adult themes.

Comedy Night

Glenn Payne hosts a Night of Comedy at the Link Centre in Tupelo, MS!

Join us for a laugh-filled night of improv comedy with four special guest speakers! Our guests will share a true story from their lives, then our improv team will use those stories as inspiration for comedy scenes that are made up on the spot. We’re excited to have our guest storytellers, Roger Smith, Kenny Cook, Lena A. Conwill, and Bentley Burns, share their stories with us!
Featuring professional improvisers from Tupelo’s WEST OF SHAKE RAG comedy troupe. 7:30pm. Doors open at 7:00pm. $10 admission. Rated PG13-R(ish), we’ll find out together. Drinks available for purchase and FREE popcorn!
Adult content is possible, so this is not being labeled as a family-friendly event; however, you’re welcome to bring mature kids if you feel comfortable. Join us for an amazing night you won’t find anywhere else!
